Thankfully January passed in the blink of an eye, and we are already halfway through Feb.
As you can see from the photos below, Ulrika and I had a lovely new years eve, watching fireworks from the south of Stockholm in a restaurant in which we had a lovely meal. And then she took me to Lisbon for my 40th birthday. The nicest thing all weekend was the sun. Whilst we escaped the snow until mid January, it has still be rather dark and gloomy in Stockholm and just seeing the sun was amazing. Spring can't come quick enough to Stockers for me.
In January we also bought a flat, three bedrooms, down by the water, and we move in at the end of March. I promise photos when I can. And finally, there is Sam. Of course there is Sam. It's all about the little man! He is growing up so quickly and talking so much. We bought him a new sledge (which you can see below) but even he has been more keen to play inside than outside during our current cold snap.
