The weather was quite mild for their visit, so they have still to see Stockholm at it's worst but that was probably for the best, -18 is no fun for anyone. So it is a quiet week ahead, before Uncle David and Auntie Liz arrive late on Thursday night! If Sam could understand that next time he is in the flat his Auntie and Uncle will be here, he would probably be as excited as me!
Last night for Mum's birthday we went to the Boules Bar. It is probably the best way to play Boules, listening to a bizarre mix of music from Jay-Z to Abba, drinking beer (or wine in the folk's case) and being surrounded by beautiful Swedes. For the record Roy lost to both me and Pam. He was last seen boarding the bus to the airport a few hours ago, still muttering about it not being a real game if played indoors (I prefer my brother's explanation that like Everton, he is hopeless in Europe).
It was a lovely week, and I hope everyone enjoys the pictures below. If you do happen to bump into Roy, feel free to ask him why he is now banned from Stockholm's Stadmuseet! It's not just his son who gets into trouble in Stockholm!
I'm expecting to see Roy slide down the hill to the town now, given his obvious expertise!
ReplyDeleteIs the new job going better now?

You may see him slide down the hill, but you are unlikely to see him walk back up it : )
ReplyDeleteJob is good thanks... Think I am getting the hang of it... See you and Kelvin next month!
