I then met Samuel's Mamma at the central station in Stockholm and ran home (about 8km). It is a beautiful run for half the way, then rather dull as I run along the side of a dual carriage way. After lunch, I then watched some footy, and a couple of episodes of Breaking Bad (which is odd but good).
Saturday evening would normally be spent watching the X-Factor. I was looking forward to it, as it starts to get interesting now they are at the boot camp stage. However, I had a social engagement to attend. My first Saturday night out in Stockholm! Last Friday when Dave, Liz and I were out watching Swedes drink Fanta and rose wine, I got chatting to a girl called Anna. She is a web geek like myself, so we hooked up via Twitter, and I got invited out. Nice! Here is Anna on Twitter, see if you can understand more than I do (which is not a lot).
I met Anna (left) and her friend Ulrika (centre) in a cool bar not so far from mine (which was convenient) and we had a lovely time. Ulrika is also a web geek, and you can follow her on Twitter too. Good luck!
I am sure I will see them both again, but first I have a job interview which I need all the luck in the world for tomorrow (so keep your fingers crossed for me at 8.30am) and then it's off to France for 10 days. The forecast is for sun with the temperature 23. Beats rain and grey in Stockholm, with a temperature of 12!
Next time I check in, it will be From London to Stockholm to Lorgues. Jusque-là, mes amis!
