Snow fun in Stockholm

It's my week with Sam (we have a week on, week off routine which we are trialing (if I am honest, I would probably prefer three days on, three days off, but I will give it a while and see how it is)).  As Sam has a small cold (and me too) I decided to not work today (I had already done my hours for the week, but could have done more) and let Sam bunk nursery. I was pretty glad we did as at 8am it was really cold and it began snowing. It was much more fun watching the snow from inside a nice warm flat than being outside in it, pushing the buggy up that bloody hill on top of which is the nursery.

The snow didn't hang around, and by lunchtime it was all gone. Look at the photos below. On the left Sam is having fun in the snow this morning, and on the right is Sam from this afternoon (probably wondering where all that white stuff went).

As many of you know I hate the snow, but unlike in London, life seems to go, and the Swedes wrap their kids up, and still go out. Whilst Sam was cosy with all the proper gear on, my feet were really cold despite having on two pairs of socks. I think I need to get to the shops and get something that will keep my toes warm.

The irony was, despite being wrapped up warm, as soon as we walked past the playroom in the park (most parks have free to enter playrooms, with lots of toys), Sam decided the snow wasn't for him and went straight inside. Anyway, I feel this was a warning shot: Get your clothes sorted out Corless, or you won't survive the winter!
